Translucent purple. Effusive nose on the blue-black side of the Pinot Noir spectrum, with crystallized blueberries, hint of black licorice, espresso and lemongrass. The wine is viscous, but far from cloying and effortlessly covers the palate with fruit that is braced with grainy, subtle oak, and yields a bold Pinot Noir with a ripping, multi-layered, tight finish.
